THE PROJECT
Special features of this single villa, designed for a young couple, are undoubtedly the roof which, with its height and the movement of the exposed beam, emphasizes the volumes and expands the spaces, and the staircase that connects them. Great importance has been given to the entire living area in total open space both horizontally and vertically. On the ground floor, the kitchen, dining and conversation/TV area, although each well delimited in an ideal geometric space, communicate and flow into each other to allow for greater sharing and to be in line with new lifestyles. The upward staircase leads to the mezzanine overlooking the lower floor and becomes its ideal extension. The same staircase going down leads to the tavern, the fitness area and the services. Under the mezzanine there is the sleeping area consisting of a master area with bedroom, walk-in closet with double access for her and him, and the bathroom for exclusive use, a second bedroom and the guest bathroom. In the outdoor part, the large garden houses a swimming pool and its edge for absolute relaxation even in the open air.
The continuity between indoors and outdoors was made possible through the insertion of large minimal windows and the use of the same floor throughout the house, the same in every room to give continuity and stylistic coherence, to cover the external surfaces as well. Materials and visual depth have made it possible to bring the outdoor space inside the house.
THE CONCEPT
Freshness, light and total connection between indoor and outdoor spaces were the guiding themes applied to every choice both in terms of design and materials, furnishings and decorations.
In the living area, the eye wanders freely encountering few obstacles and fully enjoying these extra volumes enhanced by furnishings with essential and minimal lines. The undisputed star of this space is the Modulnova kitchen.
